On Sullivan's Island, there are various public beach access trails. The beach is accessible by wooden boardwalks and footpaths. Handicapped pathways can be found at Stations 18, 21, and 26. The beach allows public parking in the public right of way.

Sullivan's Island Beach is the smallest of Charleston's beaches, yet it is one of the most beautiful. Sullivan's Island's beach, while less popular than Folly Beach, is nevertheless unspoilt and often uncrowded, making it ideal for locals' morning walks on the beach or picnics on the sand.


Is parking on Sullivans Island free?

Yes, certain side streets have free parking; however, you will have to walk to the beach, which is not far. The parking spaces are clearly indicated. Make sure you're not blocking anyone's driveway.
