Island owners have recently completed a newly refurbished shelter for goats. Brett and Lisa Young have always been looking forward to this trip since moving from New Hampshire to South Carolina in 2019. There was one thing that was hindering them, just as they were excited about the move.

Goat Island is unique in that it can only be accessed by boat and its natural wetlands. Located in the Intracoastal Waterway, the island is a 1-minute boat ride to Palms Marina Island via ICW and a 20-minute boat ride to Charleston Harbor or the Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge.
